Temple Bar Galleries and Studios was set up by artists in the early eighties. When the entire area was being redeveloped in the nineties, artists seized the opportunity to get the best facilities going. The building was designed by McCullough Mulvin Architects.

City Hall, built by the Guild of Merchants (1769-1779) was purchased by Dublin Corporation in 1851.
The vaults host a permanent exhibition tracing Dublin’s evolution from Viking and Norman times. The Rotunda can be hired for corporate events, filming and civil ceremonies.

The Picture Rooms is a newly opened photography gallery at 12 Wellington Quay, Dublin 2. The gallery's primary photographers and driving forces are Martin O'Leary and Aidan Beatty.
